The Redding and Stockton VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) offers a full range of medical and ancillary services in a new state-of-the-art facility. Services include primary care, audiology, cardiology, chiropractic, compensation & pension exams, dental, gastroenterology, infectious disease, laboratory, mental health, nutrition, occupational therapy, optical shop, ophthalmology, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, podiatry, primary care, radiology, social work, urgent care, urology, and women’s health. The clinic offers pre- and post-operative telemedicine surgical services including general and vascular surgery, nephrology, and orthopedics. In addition, the clinic provides care to Veterans in rural areas via a mobile health clinic.
Duties/Responsibilities: Incumbent will perform outpatient GI consultations, colonoscopy, and endoscopy procedures.
Offering a comprehensive benefits package as well as Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with up to $200,000 over 5-years, tax-free and/or Recruitment Incentive with minimum 3-year service obligation.
Tour of duty: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, no on-call or weekends, Alternative work schedule may be available, to include part-time appointments.
Salary: $320,000 - $380,000 plus much more!
Candidates must: 1) be a US citizen or PRA (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with [38 U.S.C. § 7407(a)]; 2) possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state, 3) board prepared/certified in Family or Internal Medicine and board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology, and 4) Flu vaccination.
Preferred experience: Best qualified candidates will be Board Certified in Gastroenterology
