They are seeking an ambitious, energetic, full-time/part-time plastic surgeon to join our growing team in Edmonton Alberta
The practice model is designed for maximum efficiency, which includes affording each clinician with:
- A team of 4-5 dedicated nurses and medical office assistants to optimize patient flow
- 5 or more exam rooms to support your clinic
- Access to surgical/procedural rooms
- Access to a full suite of surgical and aesthetic lasers
- A head office staff equipped to handle areas such as scheduling, referrals, human resources, and billing
- A supportive team that leaves the physician with minimal paperwork (charting, billing, etc.)

Role Overview
The primary function of the Plastic Surgeon is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns. The Plastic Surgeon's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide professional patient care at all times and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients
- Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes
- Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
- Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care
- Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care
- Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company
- Adhere to company policies and protocols
- Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence
- Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees
- Potential opportunities for the right candidate may include a medical directorship position and/or equity stake in the company
Role Qualifications
- Current College of Physicians of Alberta CPSA License
- Current and active FRCSC certification
- A strong passion for the medical, surgical, and cosmetic field
- Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required
- Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required
