Registered Nurse - Veterans Centre K1W - Regular part-time 2023-232023 (2023-232023)

We currently have a Regular Part-time (0.5 FTE) opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Veterans Centre - K1W department located at our Bayview Campus.

Hours Of Work: Weekdays & Alternating Weekends: Nights; 8 hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties

• The RN is responsible for the total care of a group of residents within a primary nursing care delivery model.
• The RN supports the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care concept and principles and the Mission and Values of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
• The RN works closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications/Skills

• Current Ontario Registration
• Current B.C.L.S.
• Patient and family focused care philosophy required
• Previous experience working in a Geriatric setting
• Ability to function in an interdisciplinary setting as a primary nurse
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent assessment skills
• Team-player
• Computer skills required
