We are a very unique team-based primary care model that provides a patient centered medical home.

Your care team would include well-trained, experienced Medical Office Assistants, Registered Nurses and Lab Technician.

We also have an in-house allied health team, which includes a Registered Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist, Osteopath, Registered Kinesiologist, Psychologist and Registered Dietitian.

With your clinical team you will be able spend the time and care with your patients to provide good quality patient care and practice medicine the way you want to practice. A full patient panel at APC consists of approximately 300-400 patients, which allows you to deliver comprehensive care to a smaller patient panel.

The work at APC is both challenging and rewarding. The physician couple who own the clinic are highly experienced family/ emergency physicians with world wide practice in urban/ rural / international / and even military work.

All physicians in the group are clinical faculty at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine and we regularly enjoy the presence of resident physicians and other students in the office. These physicians are very enthusiastic mentors who would be able to provide back up and mentorship .

Our EMR is AVA state of the art record keeping with exceptional security IT support and provincial certifications. Our practice data is shared with the Health Quality Council of Alberta and clearly demonstrates the value of our model.

On call duties are not onerous.

All scheduling is flexible and shared equally by all physicians. The clinic is open during normal weekday business hours only.
