Ashcroft Urgent & Primary Care Centre:
Interior Health is seeking Family Practitioners to join our team at the Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre.
The Ashcroft UPCC offers urgent and primary care services with a full range of outpatient and ambulatory care services including basic radiology, laboratory, dietitian/diabetes, mental health and addictions, public health, home health and adult day care. The nearest major medical centre for community transfer is Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, 93 kms away. The Ashcroft UPCC is open 7 days a week from 0800-2000.
The UPCC is conveniently co-located in the facility adjacent to the LTC unit. It is spacious with a bright waiting room, four doctor's offices, eight exam rooms, a nurse's room, staff room and reception/ bookkeeping offices.

Ashcroft is part of the Thompson Cariboo Primary Care Network (PCN) a collaborative partnership between the Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice, Interior Health, and the Nlaka’pamux Nation. The target population in Ashcroft will be a general population with services that span the care continuum. The service model comprises Longitudinal full service primary care for patients attached to the Centre for the general population.
As a rural physician and part of the Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice you have access to a number of educational opportunities; including Rural CPD Program from UBC, Practice Support Program to name a few.
