Pharmacist - FT 3 Weekday Evenings and Weekends - Edmonton
Are you a Licensed Pharmacist interested in a role in Edmonton with a pharmacy that offers unique pharmacy service delivery? We are supporting a Long Term Care client pharmacy in that region with their search for a Pharmacist who will focus on supporting calls that come from healthcare professionals/caregivers at the homes serviced by the pharmacy. This Pharmacist will help support answering questions, providing medication-related counseling and offering professional opinions when calls come to the pharmacy any three consecutive weekday evenings + Saturdays and Sundays.
Shift times are Saturdays and Sundays 8am - 4pm / 10am - 6pm and any 3 evening shifts during the week 3pm - 10pm / 4pm - 11pm, with 2 consecutive days off per week.
If you are a pharmacist who is passionate about consulting and collaborating with caregivers and HCPs (by phone, as this pharmacy is closed to the public), then this role could be a great fit for you! Beyond supporting patients by way of communicating with other healthcare professionals/caregivers at residential care homes throughout Alberta, you will support some dispensing activity as well when an urgent medication need has to get out the door and delivered by an on-call driver.
