The Physiotherapist reports to the Program Manager and as a member of a clinical team, the physiotherapist collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participates in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solves problems, and shares responsibilities. The physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in a tertiary care setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management. The physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students, and supervision of physiotherapy assistants and aides.
The incumbent may be required to provide services throughout the Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services portfolio as this position provides services to both inpatient acute care and delivers ambulatory programming with other members of the Multi-Organ Transplant Program to patients living with Advanced Liver disease. Physiotherapists work on weekends in many areas of the hospital.

Compensation and Incentives: $33.31 - $42.06 Hourly
