Registered Nurses are a vital resource in our healthcare system. We are seeking RNs from all backgrounds and skill levels to join our growing organization. You will work with a team of medical professionals under a collaborative care model, who strive to improve patient care throughout Nova Scotia.
The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide holistic care to individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations across the life span. They are responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care and provide clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient/client care settings.
The RN adheres to the NSCN Standards for Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics and is responsible and accountable at all times for their practice consistent with relevant legislation, and professional, and ethical standards.
About You
We want to hear from you if you meet the following: A nurse with education outside of Canada and, Licensed as a Registered Nurse with Nova Scotia College of Nursing NSCN or a new nurse to Nova Scotia with a temporary license that expires in 4 months or when NCLEX has been successfully completed.
Hours and Locations
Commitment to permanent full-time work is required, shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary and Incentives
$39.76 - $49.01 hourly
$50.73 hourly with 25 years' experience
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
