We are currently looking for Registered Physiotherapists to join our team of practitioners (Chiropractors and Registered Massage Therapists) at our Lakeshore location. The Physiotherapist plays a critical role in our Wellness department by providing hands-on treatments and physical rehabilitation to new and existing patients of our Wellness clinic.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Complete physiotherapy assessments and re-assessments and deliver physiotherapy services, as per the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario Standards guidelines.
• Assess client physical conditions and develop individualized therapeutic programs through verbal instruction and written guidelines.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Complete all required documentation, statistical information, reports, and correspondence, in accordance with Regional/Provincial Acts and Guidelines, College of Physiotherapists of Ontario guidelines as applicable.
• Ensure that services provided meet Mayfair Clubs customer service standards.
• Manage information in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory college, and corporate standards.
• Work alongside team members (Chiropractors, RMTs, and other Physiotherapists) to offer the best possible health care, treatment, and rehabilitation to all patients of the clinic.
• Provide hands-on physiotherapy, which may include deep/soft tissue therapy, stretching, strengthening, etc.
• Practice safe and effective use of rehabilitation equipment such as weights, resistance bands, cardio/training equipment, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Post-secondary degree and/or master’s degree in physical therapy or; approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be a current registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario Standards (registered to practice in Ontario) and in good standing with your regulatory body/college.
• 3+ years' experience providing physiotherapy services to clients.
• 3+ years' experience assessing clients physical conditions and building individualized treatment programs.
• Must be in good standing with all insurance companies for billing purposes.
• Experience and training in manual therapy techniques, functional exercise programs, and gait training.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment to promote therapeutic positioning and optimize participation in activities of daily living.
• Knowledge of related legislation, standards, acts, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with a range of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on fostering collaborative work relationships.
• Strong time management and presentation skills and work to tight deadlines.
• Assessment skills and the ability to plan therapeutic programs.
• Strong ability to develop relationships and work in a welcoming and inclusive environment, where diversity is celebrated and where everyone can develop to their full potential.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours, as required.
