Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary, AB. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, monitoring drug therapies, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting health and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree and active licensure in Alberta
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug therapies, and pharmacy operations
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Experience with pharmacy software and technology is an asset
