Baycrest Hospital has an opportunity for an PHARMACIST in the Pharmacy Department.
Position Type: Temporary Part-time (up to 7 months)
Shift Type: Days/Evenings, some weekends (subject to change)
Hourly Rate: $46.80 - $62.62

Job Summary: Baycrest Pharmacy Services support all inpatient units and programs. Some of the major functions of the department are purchasing and inventory management of medications, unit dose drug distribution with bar-code checking, and IV admixtures. Pharmacists are active team members focused on the optimization of medication management. Medications are ordered via physician computerized order entry which is verified by the pharmacist. Pharmacists participate in team rounds and quarterly medication reviews on a regular basis.
