OB Hospitalist

UW Health Northern Illinois seeks an experienced board-certified OB Hospitalist to join our team at SwedishAmerican Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Our OB hospitalist team provides support to the employed Ob/Gyns of SwedishAmerican Medical Group, the women’s health practitioners of Crusader Community Health FQHC, and to the University of Illinois Rockford Family Medicine Residency Program. 

The opportunity: 

• 24-hour inhouse shifts (7a – 7a) 
• 7 shifts per month 
• Provide emergency care, including supervision in our OB Emergency Department 
• Provide care for unassigned and FQHC OB patients 
• Provide backup care for the UIC family medicine team 
• No GYN coverage

• State-of-the-art SwedishAmerican Women's & Children's Hospital with 2,900 deliveries per year
• 32-bed Level III NICU
