Urgent FHO Locum on Hamilton Mountain - Competitive Stipend

A FHO physician with a solo practice on the Hamilton Mountain is urgently seeking a locum physician to cover her practice starting as soon as possible (timelines and dates may be flexible). The practice is seeking coverage for a minimum of 3 full days per week (available in half-day increments if desired) and will provide a very competitive daily stipend for this work.

The locum will be covering a roster of approximately 2,200 patients at a practice that typically sees about 30 patients per day. Typical practice hours are Monday - Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and Thursdays from 1 pm - 8 pm (with 1 - 2 hours for lunch/administrative time per day). The practice requires coverage on Fridays as well as a minimum of 2 additional (full) or 3-4 additional (half) days per week.

The practice has 5 exam rooms as well as a private office and the EMR is Telus PS Suite. A Nurse Practitioner student is in the office 4 days per week and the practice is also supported by a receptionist and an RPN. The practice also has a great relationship with the pharmacy next door and medical imaging is located across the street. Parking is free for both staff and patients.
