Hospitalist Dartmouth General Hospital

Dartmouth General hospitalist group looking for locums and new full time staff. Regional hospital with roughly 170 family medicine inpatient beds. Great IM support. Closed ICU run by IM. Many full time hospitalist have been there over 10 years. Dartmouth is a great community to live in good work/life balance, good community schools. We are a growing team and looking to recruit more locums to help with parental leaves with option to sign on more long term. Supportive chief and group. Great Daily stipend with no overhead.

We work mon-sun rotations with availablity for our patients 8am-5pm. About 1-2 admissions per 24hr with 1-2 discharges a day.

Roughly 1 overnight home call per a 7 day rotation (we don't expect our new hires to start call until they have worked a few rotations).

Family Medicine with interest in hospital/inpatient care. Experience helpful but not necessary. we have some MDs with emergency medicine training and internal medicine occassionally cover for our group as well.

Option to do a half list (half the patients, half the daily stipend) which allows for a slower transition as well.
