RiverMead is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. As a Registered Nurse (RN/LPN), you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents.
RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service, LifeCare Community located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. 2nd shift = $2.50 per hour
3rd shift = $3.50 per hour
Weekends = $1.50 per hour (Friday 5PM-Sunday midnight)
Responsibilities
Provides and directs the provision of nursing care to assisted living residents during the shift, based on RiverMead policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process.
+ Provides services requiring nursing skill, in accordance with the plan of care and physician's orders and makes the initial assessment of the resident. Demonstrates competency in all skills required.
+ Assesses and regularly reassesses, the nursing needs of the resident; initiates, develops, implements and makes necessary revisions to the resident's plan of care in collaboration with Director of Nursing, Neighborhood Coordinators, other departments, resident and resident's family. Assesses the resident's continual care needs.
+ Recommends and initiates diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate to the resident's care and safety. In cooperation with resident's physician, makes referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the resident's needs.
+ Performs therapeutic procedures such as administration of medications, immunizations, wound care, and managing infection.
Qualifications
+ Degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing.
+ Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire
+ Current CPR certification required.
