Certified Dental Assistant

Permanent HARP Certified Dental Assistant required for Monday to Wednesdays, and Saturdays. We are an established family practice located in Etobicoke looking for a friendly and professional individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Some experience preferred, willing to train someone with a terrific can do attitude
• Perform all aspects of clinical assisting
• Compassion, patient care and optimal customer service is a must
• If and when required develop patient specific treatment plans based on individual needs
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Follow all guidelines for sterilization and infection control under IPAC

Requirements:

• Current HARP certification
• Certified Dental Assistant Level I or II
• New grads are welcome to apply
• Occasionally support other departments during downtime, assist other members of the team
• Assist hygienists with sterilization when possible
• Must be organized and efficient
• Proactive
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Patient education, including providing post op instructions

Shifts:

• Permanent, full-time position (including Saturdays)
• 35-40 hours per week
