Registered Pharmacy Technician

FULL TIME PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Community Practice St. Johns Area

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician who is eager to practice to their full scope. Must be organized, task and detail orientated.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer service
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications
• Ensure customers requiring counseling are referred to the Pharmacist
• Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
• Receive prescription orders
• Assist in prescription preparations as per Standards of Practice
• Data entry for new prescriptions, and managing refill request processing
• Efficiently count or measure, package, and label prescriptions
• Accurately enter and maintain appropriate data
• Ordering and receiving medications.
• Compounding level B.

Minimum two years experience is a must. Must be in good standing with the board and already licensed. Reimbursement of professional fees. Comprehensive health plan available.
