Not only are you a first-class physician, but you also have the desire to train and inspire rheumatology residency and other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes. Working in the Division of Rheumatology, you can combine clinical practice and your teaching skills to educate and shape the next generation of Rheumatology residents, and medical students in the Department of Medicine.
As the clinical leader and educator, you'll be responsible for clinical, academic, QA, patient safety, and risk management as you provide direct inpatient and outpatient care to patients suffering from rheumatology-related medical conditions, including musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and inflammatory diseases. You must be academically- focused with excellent clinical skills and the ability to conduct research/study symptoms to determine the cause and find better treatments to help patients fight and overcome these disabling diseases.
