Receptionist/Clerk

Job Description: Receptionist Position - Temporary Full Time

Applications are invited for the position of Receptionist for our 128-bed facility located in Tecumseh, ON. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Receptionist will be responsible for directing all incoming calls and visitors to the facility and performing clerical duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting visitors, determine purpose of visit and direct visitors to proper location as appropriate.
• Answer telephone and place outgoing calls as requested.
• Maintain records as required and perform clerical work as assigned.
• Monitor front door for wandering residents.
• Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, environment and infection control.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and presentation.
• Organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency in word and excel is a must.
