ChristianaCare is recruiting an acute care surgeon to join colleagues covering a trauma/emergency general surgery service in Wilmington, Delaware. Qualified applicants will be Board-certified in surgery and may have added qualifications in surgical critical care. Applicants will be expected to participate in trauma/emergency general surgery call and rotational coverage of the Acute Care Service. A commitment to the education and supervision of medical students and residents is a must. Dedication to surgical research is a desired qualification.
Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, is part of the ChristianaCare a Magnet(r) non-profit health care organization, with over 1,200 beds between its three hospitals (Christiana, Wilmington, & Union Hospitals).
