The Owen Sound Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brightshores Health System (Brightshores) is looking for 24-48h short term locum coverage or a longer-term labourist/call position with 3-6 24h shifts per month could be arranged.

Locum work would include labour and delivery, home call, as well as any urgent emergency department consults for gynecology.

Brightshores has just under 800 deliveries/year, Level 2 ICN with pediatrics and anaesthesia available, and provides obstetric and gynecology consultation service to local Level 1 centres.

FRCSC qualification required.

Remuneration is a set fee $1600/24h of call coverage.

Our area includes beautiful Georgian Bay with hiking trails and escarpment cliffs and nearby Blue Mountains, as well as Lake Huron with sandy Sauble Beach for great swimming and family fun!
