The Ellerslie Medical Centre is a healthcare facility located in the rapidly growing neighborhood of Southwest Edmonton. The rapidly growing Ellerslie community in Southside Edmonton has experienced a significant surge in population, driven by its attractive amenities, housing developments, and proximity to the city's resources. With this population expansion comes an increasing demand for family physicians to meet the healthcare needs of residents. The growing community requires additional family physicians to provide timely and comprehensive primary care services, ensuring that residents have access to quality healthcare. This demand underscores the vital role of family physicians in supporting the health and well-being of Ellerslie's diverse and expanding population. Ellerslie Medical Centre is providing comprehensive family medicine and walk-in services, the clinic caters to the healthcare needs of the community every day of the year. Operational hours extend from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and Statutory Holidays. Since its inception in October 2013, Ellerslie Medical Centre has been an integral part of the Southside Edmonton community. It is notable for being one of the few clinics, possibly the only one in Southwest Edmonton, that operates 365 days a year with extended hours until 8 PM. Ellerslie Medical Centre serves a diverse community, comprising largely young families and the elderly. It also plays a crucial role in offering healthcare services to those with complex mental health issues and addiction problems.

Qualifications:
As per the CPSA's eligibility requirements guidelines. Applicants should be Eligible for a CPSA license and willing to undergo a Practice Readiness Assessment as outlined by the CPSA. The applicant will apply for and maintain a Community Appointment with Alberta Health Services, in the Department of Family Medicine
