Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) has a great opportunity for a full-time Audiologist in our ENT & Audiology practice. This is a mixed specialty practice which includes Ears, Nose & Throat, Audiology, Allergy, Speech-Language Pathology and Palliative Care. The Audiologist collaborates with two Otolaryngologists, PA, NP, and a Hearing Instrument Specialist. The Audiologist focuses on patient centered hearing care by providing diagnostic testing, counseling, education, hearing amplification assessments and management for all ages.
What you’ll do day-to-day:The Audiologist works with the ENT providers, performing comprehensive diagnostic testing for patients of all ages as well as providing testing for direct referrals to Audiology. The Audiologist works collaboratively alongside the Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide hearing amplification services including: hearing aid assessments, fittings, cleanings, repairs, counseling and education. Using strong listening and communication skills in a caring and individualized manner, the Audiologist problem solves and builds strong rapport with their patients.
In addition to day-to-day hands-on patient care, the Audiologist is responsible for shared administrative work for the department including: ordering audiology supplies, ordering hearing aids, ensuring verification of hearing aid benefits using insurance benefit portals, managing tasks, documentation, calls and messages.

AuD or Master’s Degree in Audiology, a current Vermont Audiology license and BLS are required.
