The Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting for a full-time faculty member, open rank in the Clinical Scholar track commensurate with training, experience, and academic record.
This position will involve sign-out duties, resident training activities, medical students teaching in the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and participation in one or more clinical conferences. Jefferson Pathology has an ACGME accredited residency program and subspecialty fellowships.
Expertise in renal pathology (medical) is required; additional interest or expertise in GU oncologic pathology is highly desired.
Candidates experienced in the application of diagnostic molecular pathology and a record of academic productivity will be given preference. Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology is required. The candidate must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania license.
The Department emphasizes scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to be a member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University teaching faculty and time will be allocated to pursue the intradepartmental and interdepartmental opportunities for independent and/or translational research.
