Women’s Health Imaging Specialist
We are looking for a special person to partner with. Someone passionate about improving access to quality imaging for women. Someone passionate about bringing back “being human” in healthcare. Someone ready to move on to the next exciting chapter of their life and find balance, empowerment and... fun!
We created a new clinic with huge potential. We created a place where it feels good to work. We are now ready to find more like-minded physicians who will contribute to the vision. Possibilities are endless.
We are looking for a Radiologist with a focus in women’s health or an OBGYN with imaging skills or a Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialist.
Milestones Diagnostics & Wellness is a local physician owned and operated community-based Diagnostic Imaging clinic that currently specializes in performing obstetrical ultrasound in a trauma informed way. Our interest is women’s health, and we are open to expanding our services within that area.
We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Women’s Health Imaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate must be passionate about improving the standards of care for women and helping to change the way that imaging is provided to women in our communities. This is a community practice accredited as a Diagnostic Imaging facility with the CPSA (billed fee for service with Alberta Health).
The successful candidate will work alongside OBGYNs/Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialists and MFM trained sonographers and nursing staff. The Women’s Health Imaging Specialist will be responsible for reviewing ultrasound images, reporting the findings, and consulting with patients as indicated within scope of practice. Additional tasks are needed as per the CPSA standards of practice.
Milestones Diagnostics & Wellness will offer the successful candidate:
- Partnership track opportunities.
- Competitive compensation and flexible schedule.
- Opportunity to work in a brand new modern and nurturing professional environment.
- Opportunity to practice medicine according to your values and dreams
- Create your own ideal practice through entrepreneurship
The successful candidate will:
- Have a desire to help grow this area of women’s health in the community.
- Be in good standing (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
- FRCSC or FRCPC or eligible
Milestones Diagnostics & Wellness is an equal opportunity organization and believes in hiring the best candidate for the position without bias or discrimination.
Please note that this position is for community practice, without affiliation with university or hospital, which could be a separate process.
