Urgent Family Physician with OB Training

Title: Urgently Seeking Family Physicians with OB Training to Locum in Kapuskasing April 18-23

The Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing requires locum assistance to help support critical gaps in our OB schedule April 18-23.

Kapuskasing is a 2-hour drive from the Timmins Airport (short 1.5 hour flight from Toronto to Timmins through Air Canada and Porter Airlines).

With a catchment area of approximately 11,000, the hospital will see approximately 100 deliveries per year.

OB on-call is required 24 hours per day for the entirety of your locum (8am to 8am).

On-call + clinic days: April 18,19 & 22. Stipend for on-call + clinic days is $2,000/day.

On-call only days: April 20, 21. Stipend for on-call only days is $1,500/day.

Stipends are a mix of hospital, HOCC funding & Rural Family Medicine Locum Program (RFMLP) paid stipends.

Travel day stipends, accommodation and travel reimbursements also reimbursed through RFMLP as per their guidelines.

Accommodations conveniently available across from the hospital.

We are also looking for coverage from May 3-11 and June 6-19, 2024. We are also flexible with the dates.
