ER Locums Wanted in Creston, BC

Job Description:

Looking for ER Locum coverage aprox 4-6 shifts a month, multiple positions available.

Hospital Information:

Creston Valley's 20-bed Acute Care Hospital has an active 24-hour Emergency Department. Our GP's provide approximately 1:11 on call ER coverage. Acute specialized services: GP Surgery/Anesthesia/Obstetrics including low risk C-Sections & inpatient service; dialysis, imaging, ultrasound, pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy, occupational therapy & other ancillary services.

Qualifications:

• Certificant of College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification (ATLS)
• Emergency experience
• Full licensure with CPSBC; Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory.

Remuneration:

·        Fee for Service

·        MOCAP

·        Rural Emergency Enhancement Fund (REEF)

·        All scheduled locums are eligible for travel expenses in accordance with the IH Locum Policy as well as Paid travel time honorarium to a maximum of $1,500.
