Baycrest Hospital has an opportunity for an PHARMACIST in the Pharmacy Department.

Position Type: Temporary Part-time (up to 6 months)

Shift Type: Days/Evenings, some weekends (subject to change)

Hourly Rate: $46.80 - $62.62

Bi-Weekly Hours: 60 Hours

Job Summary: Baycrest Pharmacy Services support all inpatient units and programs. Pharmacists play a crucial role in medication management and are active team members focused on optimizing patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participating in relevant rounds and care conferences
• Identifying, preventing, and resolving drug-related problems
• Ensuring seamless continuum of care
• Providing oversight and direction for Pharmacy Technician(s)
• Ensuring best practices for medication safety

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Current and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical care
• Self-motivation, excellent communication, and organization skills
