Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Elgin Street Dental Centre is a growing, fast-paced and innovative dental office in Cobourg, ON. We are looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant who is dedicated to quality patient care and comfort.

Jobs duties include:

• Assisting dentist during treatment procedures and preparing treatment rooms
• Assisting hygienists as needed
• Taking dental radiographs
• Educating patients before and following procedures
• Working efficiently to maintain doctor's schedule
• Adhering to all Office protocols and safety policies and procedures
• Organizing and maintaining lab equipment
• Taking patient impressions/scans
• Sterilization

• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs

Experience: dental assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

License: Level II Dental Assistant (Required) HARP certification (Required)

Schedule: Mon Thur (8 AM to 5 PM) Fri - 8 AM to 1 PM

Clinical Setting: General Dentistry

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift
