About The Opportunity

Under the direct supervision of the Manager Clinical Services, the Pharmacist will participate in the provision of direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients/outpatients as a member of the interdisciplinary care team. Duties include patient counseling, medication monitoring, student mentoring, drug utilization reviews, liaison with Community Pharmacists and education/drug information. The Pharmacist participates in any clinical pharmacy research in which the Clinical Division Manager is involved.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy
• Eligible for the registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists required
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

Various permanent, assignments (temporary), and casual relief (no guarantee of hours), opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation and Incentives

$43.67 - $53.24 Hourly

Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
