Full Time Opportunity

Our client is seeking a cardiologist for the community of Lethbridge Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinic-based outpatient care as well as inpatient services and call to patients with cardiac conditions

.

Cardiology Outpatient Clinic

• Establish and maintain full time cardiology practice in the community of Lethbridge. The successful candidate may choose to join an existing independent outpatient practice or form an independent outpatient office.
• Provide outpatient cardiac services.

Inpatient Hospital Services - Pending Hospital Privileging:

• Obtain and maintain a Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
• Provide call assistance as per call schedules, including full time participation in the Cardiology call schedule, as required;
• Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives undertaken
• Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities, as assigned;
• Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with specialist training in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Cardiology. 
• Must have or be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada –sponsored position/supervision available
• Must have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• Preference will be given to those Cardiologists who have advanced training in Echocardiography or Nuclear Cardiology. 

 Compensation:· Fee-for-Service – one of the most generous and competitive fee schedules in Canada
