About The Opportunity
Please note: This position requires the successful incumbent to strictly adhere to Integrated Chronic Care Services (ICCS) scent-free policy.
The Physiotherapist reports to the ICCS Health Service Manager. The physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. Physiotherapy assessment involves obtaining a detailed medical history, performs a functional assessment including specific and standardized tests and evaluation, procedures to determine a physiotherapy diagnosis and tolerance for physical activity & exercise. Holistic treatment programs are developed using education, personalized exercises prescription, self-management strategies, and motivational interviewing around behavior change to assist the patient in regaining and/or maintaining an optimal level of function. The ICCS physiotherapist will be working individuals who are experiencing post-COVID, fibromyalgia, MCS and chronic fatigue, and is required to have a good understanding of, and keeps abreast of, emerging evidence with regards to treatment, physical activity and exercise counselling for this patient population. The physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment and patient management. The physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students. The ICCS physiotherapist as a member of a clinical team and collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participates in the evaluation of team effectiveness, and solves problems and shares responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.

Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Shifts may include evenings weekend and holidays.
Compensation and Incentives
$33.97 - $42.89 Hourly
