Alberta is Calling! Our client is seeking Adult and Child Psychiatrists to join hospitals and communities in Central Alberta.

The successful candidate will:

• participate in the Department of Addiction & Mental Health call schedule;
• Establish and maintain a Psychiatry practice in the community
• Inpatient, outpatient, telehealth for outlying areas and a clinical practice.
• Support for Mental Health Programs throughout the area
• Responsible for Emergency on-call.
• Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities, as assigned
• Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care
• Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities
• Interest in Leadership
• Reside in and have as his/her primary residence within the community in which the clinical practice is located
• Candidates require recent and relevant experience in all scopes of practice

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with certification or additional training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Must have or be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada –sponsored position – supervision available
• Must have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
