Physician, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery

WakeMed is currently seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with an interest and focus on cardiac surgery to join our established group, in Raleigh NC. Our team currently consists of 6 physicians and provides services in our Raleigh based office as well as Cary location. WakeMed Heart & Vascular Physicians offer the state of the art cardiothoracic surgery techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic cardiac and thoracic surgery, arrythmia surgery, complex coronary revascularization, complex valve and aortic surgery, laser lead extraction, and structural heart procedures. Our program has consistently been ranked among the top cardiac surgical programs in the country. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional clinical experience.Qualified candidates must be BE/BC.?  The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APP's within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
