Job Description

This full time staff member will support the genetic counselor research program at the Basser Center for BRCA. S/he will be responsible for supporting a team of 9 genetic counselors by managing new and existing research projects. S/he will be responsible for coordinating a growing research portfolio, engaging in study implementation, start-up, and feasibility assessments. S/he will be responsible for identifying eligible participants and consenting participants to genetics-related research protocols. Recruitment and enrollment will include documentation and tracking of participant enrollment in study databases (REDCap), Basser systems (Progeny and ACCARD), as well as ACC required documentation (CTMS). The research coordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining data collection instruments, and the entry, management, and analysis of data collected. He/she will prepare and manage all regulatory (IRB) filings. The research coordinator will assist in other tasks related to the project including coordination of and preparation for study meetings, processing vendor invoices, performing literature searches, preparing manuscripts, and research-related presentations. This individual must be highly motivated, organized, and able to prioritize.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years experience

Experience with REDCap, statistical software, and/or EMR preferred.
