Job Title: Locum Family Physicians

The Kawartha Lakes Health Care Initiative is currently seeking two dedicated and passionate Locum Family Physicians to join our outpatient facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare and is looking for a flexible work arrangement. As a locum, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. This position does not have on-call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses and treatment options in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the medical field through continuous professional development.

Requirements:

• Current CPSO and CMPA.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
