RN/RPN - (Casual, Part Time, Full Time)

Reporting to the Director of Care or designate, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the RN will work closely with other front line team members to provide high quality care and services to residents. The RN supports the team it works with in creating a warm, respectful, positive, safe, supportive culture for our residents, their families, and other team members. As part of their role, the RN ensures care and services provided to the residents align with organizational policies, care standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the ability and temperament to deal tactfully, effectively, and cooperatively with residents, family members, contract agencies, team members, leadership, and visitors

• The ability to support all team members who provide resident care and services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care is considered an asset
• An equivalent combination of experience and qualifications will be considered
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong computer literacy
• Conducts oneself in a professional manner
• Demonstrates and supports the Vision, Mission, and Values of Optima Living
• Energetic, positive, a natural leader who has the personal skills to motivate, encourage, and support team members
• Possesses the physical capabilities required for this role
