Physician (part or full time) in a Hollistic Outpatient Setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients, including preventive services, acute care, and management of chronic conditions.
• Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other members of the allied healthcare team.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and make appropriate referrals to specialists and allied health professionals as needed.
• Educate patients about preventive health measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management strategies to empower them to take control of their health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using our electronic health record system and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and coordinate treatment plans.
• Stay abreast of advances in medical knowledge and best practices through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards of medical practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Manitoba.
• Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in primary care settings, preferably in a community or outpatient clinic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record systems.
