Vancouver Family Practice Centre has a unique locum opportunity for an MD looking for a stable gig or the occasional shift or a few consecutive weeks, in a well run clinic with a collegial atmosphere. Our doctors like to take time off to have a great work-life balance, so we are always interested in locums who would be a part of that team.

We are conveniently located near the sky train and bike paths, plus there is ample underground pay parking available at City Square. We have a team of 11 doctors, a psychiatrist as well as medical students and residents. We have a large recently renovated bright clinic, supported by a team of attentive MOAs overseen by an organized clinic manager. We have a collegial group with a central charting room, a great staff room, and a signal chat for quick questions or support. We love working here and would like you to consider joining us.

We pay $750 per session/half day which includes 3 hours of patients booked every 15-30 minutes, plus the associated charting and inbox work. Many of our doctors started in our clinic as residents, stayed on as locums, and later joined as associates. No fuss payment - flat fee of $750 per session, $1500/day.
