Role Description

This is a full-time/part-time, on-site position for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing care to ambulatory surgery patients. The role involves working closely with the surgical team, assessment of patients, developing plans of care, and follow-up appointments. The Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for patient education, documentation, and consultation.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Nurse Practitioner in the province of Ontario
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and surgical services
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in providing patient education and counseling
• Computer proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Health Sciences
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification from the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) or Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) are assets
