The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Community Paediatric Physiotherapist based at Douglas Street Clinic in Hamilton. Caseload will include paediatric MSK clinics as well as general paediatric community work across clinics, homes, and schools. We are a Lanarkshire wide service so area of cover may vary depending on patient need. As this is a community post, a UK drivers licence, along with being a car user, is essential.
Takes a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge. Has responsibility for the supervision, education, and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers, and students within the specialty.
Provides a specialized resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers. Has active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research.

Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Community Paediatrics within Douglas Street Clinic.
The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
