Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - 6a-6p Weekend Package, Part-Time

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

+ Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care

+ Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners

+ Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident

+ Documents resident status/care/services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner

+ Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures

+ Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license

+ Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care (LTC) preferred

+ Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety

+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON) requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge/supervisory capacity

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional Information

Shift: 6a-6p Weekend Package Saturday & Sunday

Base Wage: $40.00/hr (RN) and $36.00/hr (LPN)

Wage Range: $44.00/hr-$49.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

Weekend Package Incentive Pay: $8.00/hr
