Job Summary
The Cardiac Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems as well as preventive care. Services provided will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. The Cardiac Clinical Assistant will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by position requires either a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and/or Exercise Science, or a certification from an accredited medical assisting course, or an LPN license from applicable state.
Education and Experience
Graduation certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Experience preferred but not required
Graduate from an accredited LPN school of nursing. Experience preferred but not required
Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science, official college transcripts required. Experience preferred but not required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current applicable state license as a licensed practical nurse.
