About Us:
Nimble Science is collaborating with partners worldwide to advance next-generation microbiome-based diagnostics and therapeutics. We achieve this by leveraging our industry leading capsule-based sampling technology, which allows us to collect liquid biopsies directly from the small intestine. As an Intravenous Blood Contractor you will get the opportunity to contribute directly to our success, taking a leading role in the conduct of clinical studies utilizing our SIMBA capsule.
Position Overview :

This position presents a tremendous opportunity to quickly gain skills and experience in clinical trial management. We are recruiting for a contract position starting approximately November 11th
Responsibilities:
• Performing blood draws using intravenous (IV) cannulation techniques
• Correspond with investigators, lab technicians and participants
• Assisting participants with the oral ingestion of the SIMBA capsule and investigational product (protein powder)
• Completing on-site clinical research forms (CRFs), including documentation of capsule ingestion times and x-ray times
• Helping transport blood samples within the clinical site
• Enter physical clinical data into Nimble Science’s online databases
• Communicate with the clinical operations team for study related issues and documentation. • Maintain integrity of the clinical datasets and the statistics for the studies
• Support activities related to the maintenance of Nimble’s ISO 13485 quality management system
• Other duties as required
Qualifications:
• Completed a course, certification, or equivalent in intravenous (IV) insertion
• Healthcare work experience
• The candidate must demonstrate superior interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and be fluent in English.
• Have superior organizational, attention to detail, data entry and time management skills
• Results oriented and be a team player.
• Previous experience in supporting clinical activities is a bonus

The position requires approximately 15 weekdays (7:30am to 3:30 pm) between November 11th and December 20th, with the possibility of additional days dependent on the study schedule. Located in Calgary, AB, with in-person attendance required.
