Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms in accordance to IPAC regulations
• Certified Level II with Ontario Dental Assistants Association
• Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB)
• Experience with ABELDent an asset, not required

Duties include:

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments & ensuring all equipment is ready for appointments
• Taking records, x-rays, & impressions
• Using practice software ABELDent to update electronic patient records, invoice patients for dental services, & update treatment plans
• Assisting hygiene providers when needed
• Assisting with Front Desk as needed, schedule & confirm appointments
• Polish teeth and apply fluoride

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, No weekends
Experience: Dental Assisting: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Level Two Dental Assistant Certification (required)
