THCC - LFP Family Physician (Nelson Street, Vancouver)

TELUS Health Care Centres is looking for a family physician to join our dynamic and expanding Primary care team in our Nelson Clinic.You will be working alongside other family physicians, nurse practitioners and a wonderful team of RNs, LPNs and allied care clinicians. Our open and friendly team is committed to providing high-quality longitudinal care to our patient community. 

Areas of focus include: Longitudinal Primary Care 

Status: Contractor

Remuneration: Competitive Split-Fee, including a 80/20 split for direct and indirect patient care and 90% of panel payments. 

Location: TELUS Health Care Centre, 300-808 Nelson St, Vancouver BC

What You’ll Do: 

• Provide both in-person and virtual consultations to patients from our state-of-the-art Clinic.
• You will have the opportunity to care for an existing panel of patients, including both longitudinal patients and those with episodic needs.
• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled physicians and dedicated clinical staff to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

• You must be a registered Family Physician eligible to work in British Columbia.
• Possess a valid license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is required.
• Comfortable with mobile technology, specifically video calling, or a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Commitment to a minimum of 14 hours of virtual consultations and 7 hours in-clinic per week (3 days a week).
• Be willing to work in a team-based practice
