Welcome to Chesley! The "Nicest Town Around" and home to Big Bruce - Ontario's greatest roadside attraction 2021! We are actively recruiting Family Physicians for our Family Health Organization and for Rural Family Medicine Locums.

We are a town of approximately 1,800 people and catchment area of 10,000. We are situated in the midst of cottage country where most people enjoy spending their downtime. Just 30 minutes to the beach, 45 minutes to the ski hills and 2.5 hours to Toronto, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the Bruce and Grey County area. 

The Brockton and Area Health Team resides in the same building including services such as Social Work, Chiropody, Nurse Educator, Nurse Practitioner, Dietician and Kinesiology. Many of our patients benefit from having combined appts with multiple services at one visit, not to mention the convenience for our Physicians when they can walk down the hall and communicate with the care team about specific patients or services.
South Bruce Grey Health Centre Chesley is an 18 bed (8 acute, 10 alternate level of care) facility with ER. We have X-ray, ultrasound, and community lab on site. Closest CT Walkerton - 20 minutes away. 

And last but not least… incentives! We qualify for the Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention initiative. Our municipality offers generous incentives. Permanent physicians in Chesley are also eligible for 21 days per year for vacation, in which your replacement locum is paid by the MOH, including transportation and accommodation (through Health Force Ontario).
