East Wellington Family Health Team

Excellent opportunity to experience small-town, rural practice, within an hour’s commute from Toronto, Mississauga, Kitchener-Waterloo, 30-45 minutes from Brampton.
We are looking for coverage for a minimum of 4 weeks, with possibility of extension, starting Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. We are looking for 6 half days or 3 full days of time, per week that may be spent in combination of in-clinic and virtual time for this 1150 patient roster. This may, however, be negotiable. Compensation is at a rate of $500 per half day, plus any non-OHIP services rendered. Appointments are typically booked every 15 minutes, with Personal Health Visits booked for 30 minutes.
We are a Blended Salary Model Family Health Team, using Telus PS Suites EMR. We have an excellent team of nurses, dedicated administrative staff, and a skilled allied health team consisting of mental health workers, a registered dietitian, and an in-house diabetes team. We also have integrated community addiction and outreach workers embedded in our clinics.
