Family Physician - Ridge Meadows Urgent Primary Care Centre

Job Title: Physician (Locum)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to join our team at the Ridge Meadows Urgent and Primary Care Centre. This is a locum position, offering a salaried compensation structure (ARP, Group Contracts, etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and patient-centered medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
• Participate in continuous professional development and education activities to maintain and enhance medical knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of health policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency training in a relevant specialty.
• Current and valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a similar role.
• Excellent clinical skills, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
